I have a customer with one that keeps popping the firomatic and closing, I have tried new ones and old wheels and they keep letting go, no excessive heat at the pump either

I have this kind in my home. the second door what is that used for? I just purchased my home last year and was wondering what the middle door is for. Since I'm always seeing the top door is where the flame comes from.

People are always neglecting their heating systems, its wild, especially in the north east.

I had the same, water leaking onto Riello burner blast tube for a long time. Rusted solid in place. Could not remove it. Also Dewalt work light very good for boiler work. Excellent light for work.

Wink, On the riello burner, how do I remove the nozzle? I removed the screw but the nozzle attachment wont come loose. It's as though the nozzle is welded to the casing! Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

I got one of those last year, was about half the price of the more established brands. Works well, only criticism I have is its quite heavy.

I went to look at a house for sale a year ago which had a very similar thing going on, 3 sump pumps working 24/7 to keep the water from the ground outside the property from flooding the basement. So, if the power went out, or even worse... if a pump just quit, ... you're in serious trouble. There was no generator system with the home, but it wouldn't matter if a pump just quit anyway when you're not home. I cant believe in today's age that a home can even be sold in such a condition. And those old stone foundations are just trouble waiting to happen.. And it was a real shame because the house itself was beautiful

What is a fuel oil tank doing in your basement? I thought those tanks were only installed outside, like at my trailer growing up and my paw paw's house

hello- i use that same tool to check transformers..not really impressed with it...miss my old mitco unit...hold that thing on there for a minute or more..i have had transformers test good with the 3 second test only to get a call back,replaced ,tested it at home....transformer craps out after 45 seconds or so-it came from an old rudd furnace
